Evergreen Bank Group is a locally owned and managed, full service Illinois State chartered commercial bank with over $800 million in assets. As with any financial institution, audits are a part of daily life, and any audit findings have to be either resolved or changes implemented. Along with audits are periodic exams with results that have follow up action items.

Romana Ottolino, Compliance & Legal Assistant, is responsible for supporting those teams, as well as the CEO, CFO, and executive team. Her responsibilities include monitoring internal collection messages, responding to levies and subpoenas, as well as putting together monthly board packets.

Ottolino and her team were using email and spreadsheets, but found that they were not efficiently tracking the resolutions to their exams and audits. They found it difficult to search on their past issues, and even track work on current issues. “It was hard to read and work in a spreadsheet with hundreds of fields,” said Ottolino.

Since implementing Issuetrak, Evergreen Bank Group has seen time saving as a major benefit. Issues are easier to find and work with now that they’re not utilizing an unwieldy spreadsheet.
